Gun Laws?
Not enough Gun Laws or too many Gun Laws is
one of the biggest issues for many citizens of the United
States, whether they are gun owners or not. You have the
extremes on both ends of the "Gun Law" issues, the rabid
anti-gunner's and the die hards who will do anything to oppose
Government intervention. The extremists on both sides of
the issue have resorted to violence to make their points. Such
as a small group of "PETA" members who put razor blades in
trees where Deer hunters have their stands and the rabid pro
gun side that will use violence to prove their points as well.
Then you have the average citizen who is in
the middle of the issue, they are in one of three categories:
pro gun - anti-gun - just don't care. As in most issues for
one reason or another the average citizen doesn't get involved
unless it becomes personal - local political hot button or
perhaps the newest media darling ( in thing).
There is a mountain of written material on
the subject of Gun Laws - Gun Control - Guns for a safer you -
Guns are Evil - All adults should own a gun - No one should
own a gun etc. etc. etc.
There is a staggering amount of gun related
laws and regulations on the National - State - Local level
that the average gun owner must be aware of in order to avoid
prosecution for violating the same. How is the average gun
owner suppose to know what they can do and can't do in
their city, not to mention if you travel with a defensive
weapon.
Their are many books available on the
subject of Gun Laws, however we con not recommend them. Why?
On an average the time from conception until the book is on
the rack is approximately six to nine months. By the time the
books are published, much of the data is outdated as
constantly add or amend existing Gun laws. In our opinion a
person would be better served with the information found on
the State authority links on our site or
